CASTLE HELL

Chapter 1

A Hunter is born

Deep inside the gloomy mists of the castle they call Hell, they say a boy was driven mad inside the twisted walls of his own hate. 

Bobby and Mandy were walking through the woods towards the pond just off the west side of the castle walls when all of a sudden they heard a scream, a crash and a thud.  Then something or someone jumped out of the window.  Bobby picked up a large rough stick and was ready to defend his little sister. 

As the creature of the night attacked from the side just as Bobby had predicted he gave a large smash into the hurried creatures face and thought he had knocked it out.  Then unexpectedly Mandy gave out a large scream.  Bobby called for her to come back but there was no reply.  The last Bobby saw of  Mandy was her tangled body by a pond. 

Bobby realised his life would never be the same again as madness and thoughts of revenge took his mind.

  

Chapter 2

Beginnings of new heroes

Max and Ben had just moved into a house next door to one whose previous owners it was rumoured had suffered heart break after the disappearance of their daughter under strange circumstances.  Max was eleven years of age and also played the part of being Bens older brother.  Unfortunately he had just been expelled from his previous school due to a false accusation and an ensuing fight (which Max won) during his SATs. 

Max and Ben were always the type for adventures but little did they know that this one would change their lives forever.

  

Chapter 3

Delicate souls

Three years had passed since the catastrophe that had stolen Bobbys sister from him.  After the rough few years where Bobby had endured countless psycho-therapy sessions.  His guilt at the death of his sister overwhelmed him entirely to the point that he never spoken again after the incident.  Bobbys parents had, on the instruction of their doctor, gone to stay with relatives in Ireland while Bobbys God-parents  had come to stay and look after Bobby while his parents were away.

  

Chapter 4

Innocence

  

Max and Ben were anxious to meet their new neighbours.  They got together some of their favourite toys and headed towards their new neighbours house.  As they rang the doorbell a boy near Max’s age opened the door.  Max and Ben said ‘hello’ and offered their hands in greeting as they introduced themselves.  However, there was no response except a brief handshake.  Max showed the silent boy their toys and offered him out to play.  The boy smiled briefly and disappeared for a moment or two behind the door, only to return with a handful of his own toys.  Max and Ben had bought with them three toy guns, some dominoes and a deck of cards while the silent boy had bought some hats, one was a cowboy hat another was like a pirates and the last was an army style helmet. 

As they laughed happily and played on the empty streets, Max and Ben caught site of the dreaded castle in the distance. Max felt a bubbly feeling of excitement and adventurousness in his stomach. 

  

Chapter 5

How many roads

As Max started towards the gloomy castle and Ben followed, their companion froze on the spot.  Dreading to step one foot closer to the demented castle, Bobby started to sweat.  Knowing that he couldn’t allow the new boys to experience the castle alone, Bobby decided to face his fears and maybe seek revenge.  He followed on.

As they reached the castle gates, Max hurled himself at the wooden doors but the instant that he touched the doors, the doors opened and Max fell flat on his face.  Ben and Bobby stepped through the gate and past Max’s prone body to investigate the inside.

  

Chapter 6

Climbing up the stairs, Bens foot crashed through a rotten step.  Bobby and Max hauled Ben out, all of them falling backwards as they did so. The sound of their actions echoed through the endless mazes of the stairs and halls.
